WHY LAURA?

Laura is running for Family Court Judge because she wants every child in her community to have the opportunity to grow up in a safe environment with people who love and care about them, and she has seen—as both a judge and an attorney—how Family Court can use the law to help and protect children and families across Kentucky.

Laura has spent the majority of her career working focusing on helping families in Family Court because she knows that a well-run courtroom can have a positive effect on the lives of people in Louisville every single day. In addition to her 20 years of experience as an attorney practicing in Family Court, Laura has also served as a Family Court Judge when Governor Andy Beshear appointed her—she has done the job already. She will be a judge who listens, ensures everyone feels heard, and delivers fairness and the best solutions for children and families.
